Job TitleLearning Support Assistant   

Information about the contract –  Term Time Only (39 weeks per year ) 3 x 32.5 hours per week and 1 x 22.5 hours per week.  Fixed Term until 23 July 2027.  Focus-Trust Grade 4 SCP 14-18. £29,540 - £31,537 FTE.  (Actual salary will be pro rata 

2 roles will be largely based in the SEN Resourced provision. 

Information about the role itself  

As a learning Support Assistant, you will work under the guidance of designated teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom. This could include those requiring detailed knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. Staff may also supervise whole classes occasionally during the short-term absence of teachers. The primary focus will be to maintain good order and to keep pupils on task, responding to questions and generally assisting pupils to undertake set activities.
