At Danecourt School, we believe that learning doesn’t stop when the school day ends. Our wraparound provision plays a vital role in supporting our pupils’ development, wellbeing and independence in a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.
We are looking for a Wraparound Care Manager to lead and develop our extended provision, including after-school and holiday provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children with SEND and ready to take the next step into a leadership role.
About the Role
As Wraparound Care Manager, you will:
Lead, organise and develop our wraparound care provision, ensuring a high-quality, inclusive experience for all pupils
Line manage and support a team of staff, including Teaching Assistants and Extended Day Workers
Plan and oversee engaging activities that promote independence, communication, social skills and wellbeing
Ensure the provision operates safely, with full responsibility for safeguarding, health & safety and compliance
Build positive relationships with families, supporting pupils’ individual needs
Play a key role in shaping and growing the provision, including holiday clubs
This role goes beyond day-to-day organisation — you will be responsible for the overall quality and development of the provision. Who you Are We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children, ideally within a SEND or specialist setting
Has experience leading or coordinating others (or is ready to step into a leadership role)
Is confident managing a team and supporting staff development
Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and child-centred practice
Is organised, proactive and able to make decisions independently
Is passionate about creating meaningful, inclusive experiences for children
