We are seeking a resilient, patient and highly nurturing
Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our team and provide targeted 1:1 support
for a pupil with additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a
real difference by supporting emotional regulation, learning engagement and

About the Role

You will:
- Support
learning by breaking down tasks and adapting materials to reduce
frustration and build confidence
- Promote
independence and social development, encouraging positive peer
relationships and avoiding over-reliance on adult support
- De-escalate
situations using trauma-informed approaches, identifying early signs of
dysregulation and guiding the pupil to regulate safely
- Co-regulate
– remain calm, consistent and reassuring, especially during moments of
emotional distress
Alongside this specialist support, you will contribute to
the wider classroom by helping to create a positive, inclusive and
well-organised learning environment, working closely with the class teacher and
SEN team.
