 Our School

 St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Brewood is a small, family-oriented school serving children aged 3–11, including a nursery. It is a thriving, welcoming, and faith-filled community where every child is known, valued, and inspired to flourish. Rooted in Gospel values and a strong Catholic ethos, we take pride in our nurturing environment, high academic standards, and our commitment to developing the whole child— spiritually, academically, and socially.

Are you a passionate educator ready to make a lasting impact? We are looking for an exceptional Lead Teacher  for the Autumn  term 2026 who combines strong leadership with a commitment to academic excellence, student growth, and innovative learning.

In this rewarding leadership role, you will guide and inspire both students and fellow educators, creating a dynamic and engaging classroom environment where curiosity, creativity, and achievement thrive. As a passionate, ambitious, and values-driven professional, you will play a pivotal role in strategic leadership, school improvement, and the daily operational management of St Mary’s, ensuring the school continues to deliver an outstanding Catholic education for all pupils. You will help foster a positive and inclusive culture rooted in faith, excellence, and compassion while driving educational success, supporting students to reach their full potential, and working collaboratively with staff, families, and the wider school community to champion innovation, nurture talent, and lead by example.

You will be a visible, approachable leader who inspires staff, motivates pupils, and builds strong relationships with parents, governors, and the wider parish community.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every child.
• Has experience of leadership and teaching in a successful and inclusive school environment.
• Has experience of leading or supporting SEND provision, with a compassionate commitment to inclusive practice.
• Demonstrates ambition and integrity, with a deep commitment to Gospel values and a willingness to go the extra mile in serving the whole school community.
• Can articulate and share a clear vision for primary education that reflects the mission and values of St Mary’s’ Catholic Primary School.
• Understands what constitutes high-quality educational provision and has strategies to raise standards and ensure the success of all pupils.
• Is well-organised and adaptable, able to balance competing priorities and respond positively to the changing needs of a busy school environment.
• Has excellent communication skills to build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and the wider community.
