About the role:

We are seeking to appoint a teaching assistant (additional needs)

• ·         Support individual children sometimes within small groups, making the  adjustments on a day-to-day basis to ensure access to a differentiated and highly personalised curriculum
• ·         Be proactive and flexible in supporting the child’s needs
• ·         Working closely with the SENCO to deliver a personalised programme  of support to meet targets
• ·         To support and maintain positive links between home and school by  making parents feel welcome
• ·         To work collaboratively with several external agencies to draw upon skills, knowledge and recommendations to help support the child
• ·         To support the child’s personal care and needs, including communication by following the Education Health Care Plans, and undergoing any relevant training
• ·         Lunchtime supervision is included in this post
