About this Role

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Premises Assistant to join our team at Cirrus Primary Academy Trust. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors at Avenue Primary Academy. This is a part time post (15 hours per week / 52 weeks). Exact working hours to be agreed, our schools are generally open from 6:30am to 18:30 with occasional lettings in the evening and some weekends for which overtime will be paid. 

Main duties include:

  • Assisting with the security, safety, and general upkeep of the school site

  • Carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and basic DIY tasks

  • Supporting with cleaning, setting up rooms, and site preparation for school events

  • Ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is practical, hardworking, and takes pride in their work

  • Can work well independently and as part of a team

  • Is flexible and willing to adapt to the needs of our schools
