About this Role

  • Fixed Term until 31 August 2026, Term Time Only
  • 25 hours per week (12.5 hours Teaching Assistant and 12.5 hours Out of School Club Assistant)
  • Monday - Friday 1.00pm – 3.30pm
  • Monday - Friday 3.30pm - 6pm
  • Salary NJC Grade A1/B1, Scale Points 3 - 6, £24,796 - £25,989 per annum
  • Actual Salary £14,058 - £14,734 per annum
  • Required as soon as possible

The Governors are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to join our team in a dual role as a Teaching Assistant during school hours and an Out of School Assistant in our wraparound care provision. We are looking for someone to provide support to children with additional needs. Experience is desirable but not essential.         

We are looking for someone who has numeracy and literacy skills grade 4 or above (or equivalent level) as well as providing entertaining and engaging weekday after school sessions for children and who will:

  • support the Catholic ethos of our school  
  • be a good to outstanding practitioner, able to motivate children  
  • be innovative, creative, forward thinking and work collaboratively within our team  
  • have high expectations of children of all groups and abilities  
  • engage and motivate children to learn

  • have a fair, positive and calm approach to ensure pupils meet high expectations of excellent behaviour
