Join Our Team at Loxley Hall School: Teaching Assistant Opportunity
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? Loxley Hall School is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team. This is a permanent, full-time role supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a secondary school setting.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students feel safe, valued, and supported. You’ll assist the teacher in delivering engaging lessons, provide 1:1 support to individual students, and help implement targeted interventions. Our students have Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) due to SEMH difficulties, and your role will be crucial in fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Who We Are Looking For:
We’re seeking someone with patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young people who face social, emotional, and mental health challenges. A good sense of humour, high energy, and the ability to build strong, supportive relationships will be key to your success in this role. You don’t need to have experience working in an SEMH setting – if you have the right attitude and a desire to learn, we’ll provide all the training and support you need to thrive.
