Waingels Thrive Centre is a SEND
Designated Unit for up to 25 EHCP students with complex
Speech, Language and Social Communication Needs, including those with a diagnosis
of autism or currently on an assessment pathway.

Waingels Thrive Centre is seeking a committed and
enthusiastic Intervention & Inclusion Para‑Educator to join our Thrive team
in developing this new and exciting provision. This is a vital role supporting
students with personalised learning needs and ensuring they have every
opportunity to thrive, both academically and socially.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the
development of our new SEND designated unit in its earliest stages. Working
under the direction of the Thrive Centre manager, you will play a key part in
delivering high‑quality support, delivering 1:1 interventions and helping to
uphold the school’s high expectations of behaviour, engagement and progress.
You may also be deployed in the main school when required, either to support
unit students to access mainstream lessons, or to support mainstream students
as directed.
