About this Role

North Leigh is a thriving and inclusive village school with supportive staff, Governors and parents and enthusiastic, well-motivated children.

We are looking to recruit a highly organised, committed and efficient Admin Assistant to join our friendly team to start in September 2026.  This is a part time position for 17.5 hours per week working from 8.30am-noon Monday to Friday.  The salary will be paid at grade 4 point 4.

To be successful in the role, you will be able to communicate well and maintain good relationships with all members of the school community whilst being approachable, friendly and professional.  You must maintain discretion and the utmost confidentiality at all times as well having the ability to adapt to the ever-changing priorities and demands of the school office.

Excellent IT skills (especially in MS Word and Excel), initiative and a ‘can do’ approach, as well as experience of working in a school office environment are highly desirable.

Our Christian vision states that we value everyone and this includes our staff!

Our school provides a stimulating and supportive environment which nurtures children and recognises that improving pupil outcomes depends on quality relationships across our whole school family built on mutual respect and trust.

If you are interested in joining our committed team and thriving school community, then we’d love to hear from you. Please contact Claire Carter, our School Business Manager on 01993 881525 if you’d like to visit us and see what makes North Leigh so special!
