If you’re caring, reliable, and enthusiastic, we’d love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

•  Supervising and supporting pupils during family-style dining and lunchtime play in the dining hall, playground, and local park.

•  Promoting pupils' safety, well-being, positive behaviour, and social development during the lunchtime period.

•  Encouraging participation in activities and maintaining a calm and orderly environment.

•  Working closely with pupils, teachers, senior leaders, and other support staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable lunchtime experience.

What we're looking for:

•  Someone who enjoys working with children and building positive relationships.

•  The ability to supervise and engage children in play and social activities.

•  A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

•  Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

•  A calm, positive and professional approach to managing behaviour and responding to incidents.

•  Willingness to undertake relevant training and follow school policies and procedures.

About the team:

You’ll be joining a dedicated and supportive team at Hackney New Primary School, where collaboration and a shared commitment to excellence are at the heart of everything we do. As part of Compass Eko Trust, you’ll benefit from being part of a wider professional community that works together to improve outcomes for every child.

What we offer:

•  Membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).

•  Access to a structured programme of professional development.

•  Opportunities to work across schools and develop your career.

•  Employee Assistance Programme with 24/7 confidential support.

•  Access to staff benefits and discount schemes.

•  Family-friendly policies and flexible working options where possible.
