Ofsted rated ‘Good’ in all areas: ‘a successful school’ with a ‘caring staff’. (Nov 2024)

From September 2026, we are excited to open a new Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) for students with a primary need of C&I, and we are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant from September 2026 to support with developing a new specialist resourced provision for up to 8 children with communication and interaction needs. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the development of a brand-new provision alongside the Lead Teacher and the rest of the staff team.

We are looking for an appropriately qualified, experienced and enthusiastic person who is confident in working across the primary key stages and with children who have communication and interaction needs to join our highly motivated and professional team.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with children who have communication and interaction needs.
  • The ability to work in small group settings and facilitate integration into mainstream classes.
  • Skilled at providing a low-arousal, therapeutic environment and a range of interventions.
  • The ability to work well in a team and with visiting professionals.
  • Enthusiasm and creativity for engaging children and a passion for improving outcomes for all.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.

 We can offer:

  • A dedicated space with access to therapy spaces, calm rooms and a variety of resources to support development.
  • Ongoing training.
  • Dedicated, friendly, supportive and highly motivated colleagues who strive to provide the highest quality of teaching for all of our children.
  • Parents and carers who are keen to support their child’s learning.
