TEACHING ASSISTANT
– LEVEL 2 SPECIALIST RESOURCED PROVISION

From September
2026, we are excited to open a new Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) for
students with a primary need of C&I, and we are seeking to appoint a Level
2 Teaching Assistant from September 2026 to support with developing a new
specialist resourced provision for up to 8 children with communication and
interaction needs. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the development
of a brand-new provision alongside the Lead Teacher and the rest of the staff
team.
We are looking for
an appropriately qualified, experienced and enthusiastic person who is
confident in working across the primary key stages and with children who have
communication and interaction needs to join our highly motivated and
professional team.
Key
Requirements:
- Experience
with children who have communication and interaction needs.
- The ability
to work in small group settings and facilitate integration into mainstream
classes.
- Skilled at
providing a low-arousal, therapeutic environment and a range of
interventions.
- The ability
to work well in a team and with visiting professionals.
- Enthusiasm
and creativity for engaging children and a passion for improving outcomes
for all.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
