About this Role
Marden Vale CE Academy is seeking to appoint a caring, committed, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team.
This is primarily a class-based role, supporting teaching and learning across the classroom, while also providing targeted support for a pupil with medical needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all pupils are supported to access learning, with additional responsibility for implementing care plans and supporting the child’s wellbeing throughout the school day.
Training will be provided to support any specific medical requirements.

We are seeking someone who:
- Is positive, flexible, and committed to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
- Has experience of working with children in an educational setting (desirable)
- Can support high-quality teaching within the classroom
- Is willing to undertake training to support a pupil with medical needs
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a calm approach
- Works effectively as part of a team and communicates well with staff and families
- Is committed to safeguarding and to the ethos of a Church of England school
