We are seeking a compassionate, patient and committed Teaching Assistant to provide one‑to‑one support for a pupil with behavioural and emotional regulation needs to work at either Didsbury CE or West Didsbury CE. You will play a key role in helping the pupil feel safe, settled and ready to learn each day.

Key responsibilities:

Build a trusting, positive relationship with the pupil, offering calm, consistent support to help them manage emotions and develop positive learning behaviours.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement agreed behaviour strategies and individual support plans.
Support the pupil to access learning by breaking tasks into achievable steps, encouraging independence, and celebrating progress.
