2 roles are available with a total of 23 hours. We are flexible on the split of these hours.
Additional hours to cover the breakfast club at the same hourly rate are also available and can be discussed at interview.

Ogbourne CE Primary School is a small village primary school

We are looking to appoint two Teaching Assistants, term time only, on a Fixed Term Contract ending on 31st August 2027, with
the possibility of extension/permanency. These roles may include providing
individual support for a pupil with additional learning needs as well as
working with whole class and small groups of children, under the direction of
teaching staff, to ensure all pupils make excellent progress and reach their
full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support
children's learning in the classroom under the guidance of the teacher.
- Assist
with planning, preparation, and delivery of classroom activities.
- Provide
support to children with special educational needs (SEN).
- Promote
health, hygiene, and positive behaviour.
- Help
supervise children during outings and short teacher absences.
- Support
classroom organisation, tidying, and display preparation.
- Liaise
with parents and external agencies as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
- Enjoys
working with children and values learning and development.
- Calm,
flexible, organised, and a strong team player.
- Holds
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Has
prior experience working with children (preferred).
- Maintains
integrity, confidentiality, and strong communication skills.
