About this Role

We are seeking a friendly, organised, and motivated individual to join our team as a SEND Learning Support Assistant - 15 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children's learning in the classroom under the guidance of the teacher.

  • Assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of classroom activities.

  • Provide support to children with special educational needs (SEN).

  • Promote health, hygiene, and positive behaviour.

  • Help supervise children during outings and short teacher absences.

  • Support classroom organisation, tidying, and display preparation.

  • Liaise with parents and external agencies as needed.


Ideal Candidate:

  • Enjoys working with children and values learning and development

  • Calm, flexible, organised, and a strong team player.

  • Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

  • Has prior experience working with children (preferred).

  • Maintains integrity, confidentiality, and strong communication skills.
