As Second in Department, you will:
Support the Head of Mathematics in driving high standards of teaching, learning, and curriculum development.
Lead on key departmental initiatives, such as assessment, pedagogy, curriculum design, or KS3/KS4 coordination (depending on your strengths).
Model outstanding classroom practice and support colleagues through coaching, mentoring, and collaborative planning.
Use data intelligently to raise achievement and ensure all students—regardless of starting point—make excellent progress.
Contribute to a positive, forward-thinking team culture where innovation and professional growth are celebrated.
