About this Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our accomplished teaching staff. The successful candidate will have a passion for English literature and language, and a genuine desire to inspire and engage students of all abilities. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality lessons, fostering critical thinking, and developing a love for learning among our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
  • Contribute to the development of an ambitious and inclusive English curriculum.
  • Support and inspire students to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create an enriching learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in English or a related field.
  • Experience teaching English at secondary school level (desirable).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
