Term-time only + Training Days.  Monday - Thursday  08:00 -16:00 & Friday 08:00 - 15:30.

We have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and committed individual to join the Temple Learning Academy team as an Attendance Improvement Officer on a maternity cover basis. This is a vital role for someone who is passionate about helping young people succeed and understands the importance of regular school attendance. As Attendance Improvement Officer you will work closely with students families and staff to reduce absence improve punctuality and promote high levels of attendance across the academy.

About You

To be a good fit for this role, you will be:

  • A professional individual with experience of providing  support to young people.
  • Experienced in working with parents, carers and families including having challenging conversations.
  • Committed to building positive relationships with students, fostering respect while maintaining high expectations.
  • A clear communicator with excellent organisation skills, able to balance firmness with empathy and build relationships with a wide range of individuals.
