We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join our forward-thinking English Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Curriculum Leader of English and the wider English team within a diverse and ambitious school community.

As a dynamic, inclusive and supportive school, we are committed to ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive and achieve their full potential. At TLA, we are passionate about developing a love of language and literature whilst inspiring students to become confident, articulate and critical thinkers. Our carefully designed curriculum enables students to develop strong communication skills, appreciate a wide range of literary texts and gain the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed both in education and beyond.

Through the study of diverse and engaging texts, students are encouraged to explore different perspectives, develop empathy and deepen their understanding of the world around them. We believe English has a vital role in broadening horizons, promoting social awareness and empowering young people to become thoughtful and responsible citizens.
