About this Role

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant Primary team, with a clear focus on delivering high‑quality PE and sport across the Primary Phase. This role would suit a hardworking and highly motivated individual with a passion for all sports and a particular interest in developing girls’ sport, dance and competitive opportunities.

The PE team has developed significantly with strong partnerships with outstanding partners such as Leeds United, Leeds Rhinos and Phoenix Dance. You will play a key role in ensuring pupils from Reception to Year 6 access inspiring, inclusive and enriching experiences both in and beyond the curriculum. Guided by our CORE value of Opportunity, this role supports children to discover and nurture their talents, engage positively with school life and thrive both personally and emotionally.

Guided by our core values — Courage, Opportunity, Respect and Excellence — we’re committed to helping every child thrive and every staff member feel proud to be part of our journey.

We are committed to creating a culture where staff feel valued, trusted and supported. As part of this, all staff receive a paid wellbeing hour each term, offering flexible time to focus on their health, family or personal wellbeing in a way that works for them.

Here’s what you can expect when you join us:
