About this Role
Stifford Clays Primary School is an extremely happy and positive school, and we are seeking an Administration Assistant to undertake daily attendance monitoring and general administrative duties within the school office. Previous administrative experience in a school office or the public sector is highly desirable but not essential, as training will be provided as part of the induction process. This is a part-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 11:45pm, term time only.
For this role you will:
-Be organised and able to prioritise workload-Have excellent communication skills using all forms of communication (email, face to face, telephone, written letters)
-Be confident and able to work on your own initiative
-Work well with others and be calm under pressure
-Have the best interests of children at the heart of the work that you do
-Have good ICT skills and able to use all Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
-Sims desirable but not essential
Why Stifford Clays Primary School?
We are a community-focused school for 2 to 11 year olds, located centrally in the Stifford Clays ward of Thurrock. The original infant and junior schools were built in 1954 and were one form of entry. The school has grown hugely to accommodate 90 children in each year group. We have a resource base provision for children with autism.
