About this Role

Pastoral Lead:  37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only (plus inset days)

Why Stifford Clays Primary School?

We are a community-focused school for 2 to 11 year olds, located centrally in the Stifford Clays ward of Thurrock. The original infant and junior schools were built in 1954 and were one form of entry. The school has grown hugely to accommodate 90 children in each year group. We have a resource base provision for children with autism.

Stifford Clays Primary School is an extremely happy and positive school. We are an Ofsted 'Good' school (2022) where ''pupils love coming to school'' and "pupils, staff and trustees show great pride in belonging to the Stifford Clays Primary School community.'' Our personal development provision is 'outstanding'.

You will have;

  •         experience in working with children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties
  •          a secure understanding of safeguarding and ideally, experience of working in a school’s safeguarding team
  •          experience of working within the primary stage
  •          the ability to create positive learning environments
  •         high expectations of pupil attainment and behaviour
