We are
seeking to employ a Cover Supervisor to provide lesson supervision for absent
teachers, as and when required, across all departments within the
Academy. They play a vital role in contributing to the culture, ethos and
well-being of the whole academy.
This is a
casual hours contract, working during term time only.

Charnwood
College is an oversubscribed 11 to 18 school, which has seen significant
improvements over the last five years. The most recent Ofsted inspection rated
the school as Good in all areas stating that ‘Pupils at Charnwood College

Who we are looking for
We’re
looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and confident individual to join our
team as a Cover Supervisor. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys
working with young people and is passionate about supporting their learning in
a school environment. You’ll be responsible for supervising classes
during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain on
task and continue to make progress. While you won’t be required to plan
lessons, you’ll need to manage the classroom effectively, follow the set work,
and uphold the school’s behaviour expectations
