We are seeking a compassionate, reflective and
nurturing colleague to join our Thrive team as a Level 4 Thrive
Teaching Assistant.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Teaching
Assistant who is committed to inclusive practice and wants to make a meaningful
difference to the lives of our most vulnerable learners.
About the Role
Working under the guidance of our Advanced Thrive
Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting students' emotional
development, wellbeing and engagement in school.
You will nurture strong and trusting relationships with
students, help create the conditions that allow young people to feel
safe, connected and ready to learn, and contribute to our school's
commitment to emotionally responsive and trauma-informed practice.
Working alongside our Advanced Thrive Practitioner, you will
take responsibility for planning, delivering and evaluating
targeted emotional wellbeing and Thrive interventions for individual
students and small groups. You will contribute to Thrive
assessments, monitor intervention impact and support the ongoing
development of Thrive practice across the school.

Key Information
Grade: G (Points 8–12)
Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week), 39 weeks
per year
Working hours:
Monday: 08:00 – 15:45 (with half an hour unpaid break)
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 08:00 – 15:30 (with half an hour unpaid
break)
Wednesday: 08:00 – 17:30 (with half an hour unpaid break and
a 15-minute break at 15:30)
Responsible to: Advanced Thrive
Practitioner
Start Date: By October 2026 (subject to internal
arrangements)
Closing Date: Monday 20th July 2026, 12:00pm, midday
Interview date: week commencing 20th July 2026
