Isebrook School is a successful specialist setting for students aged 11-18 with a broad spectrum of special educational needs and learning disabilities. We are seeking to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work on a one-to-one basis with one of our students.

 A message from the Student:

"Hi,

My name is Lewis.  I am 13 years old and I attend Isebrook School.

I enjoy anything to do with transport, but especially, trains and buses (Stagecoach)

I also enjoy quiz shows, swimming, making music and cookery.

I need an adult to give me some extra support when I am in school.

Sometimes I can get upset, if things change suddenly or I don’t like what I have been asked to do.

When this happens, I need an adult who understands this and can help me to stay calm and be safe.

You must be, fun and like to chat, willing to join me in role play sessions as this is something I love to do.

You must be kind and patient.

You also need to be a consistent adult and help me to have structure and routines built into my day.

If you think you have what it takes, then please apply to come and work with me.

You will be rewarded by working with a funny and caring student who will fill your days with joy!

Thank you,

Lewis."
