We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and hardworking After School Club Assistant, to join our friendly after-school club team, with the skills to work across the whole primary school age range. 

You will assist the after-school club team with the day-to-day operation of the After School Club service for children, ensuring they can develop personally, socially and educationally, in a safe, caring environment.

You will help to prepare rooms and resources and ensure that play equipment, materials and refreshments are set up at the beginning of the sessions and cleared away safely at the end of the session.

You will assist the Line Manager with maintaining accurate attendance records, ensure that children use play equipment correctly and contribute to the continuous development of the club, whilst providing a high standard of care.

If you:

Have experience of working with 4 – 11 year olds and their families and a suitable childcare qualification

Have understanding and commitment to good quality childcare

Are cheerful, flexible and approachable

Have energy and enthusiasm and use your own initiative

Work well in a team

Have excellent communication and administration skills
