About the Role

As a Reception Class Teacher  you will play a pivotal role in laying the foundations for lifelong learning. You will:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging early years teaching that inspires curiosity and confidence.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels valued and encouraged.
  • Use innovative and up-to-date resources to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs and those who are gifted and talented.
  • Collaborate with experienced colleagues, leaders, and support staff to develop and embed a curriculum that challenges and excites.
  • Monitor pupil progress closely, setting high expectations and supporting each child to achieve their full potential.
  • Champion the welfare and safeguarding of pupils, promoting positive behaviour and well-being.
  • Contribute actively to the wider life of the school and Trust, including community and parental engagement.
