About the Role

As a Class Teacher at St John’s CE Primary School, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging teaching that inspires pupils and raises achievement
  • Plan and deliver a curriculum tailored to meet the needs of all learners, including those who are gifted or require additional support
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment where pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally
  • Work closely with senior leaders, colleagues, and families to ensure every pupil’s progress and well-being is supported
  • Embrace and contribute to the Trust’s vision, policies, and commitment to equality, inclusion, and safeguarding

You will have the opportunity to use innovative teaching approaches and up-to-date facilities to make a lasting impact on your pupils’ educational journey.


About You

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Is passionate about inspiring young learners and unlocking their full potential
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence, building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
  • Is confident in using technology to enhance learning and embraces ongoing professional development
  • Shows resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to the highest professional standards
  • Has a proven track record of effective teaching and the ability to motivate and support pupils of all abilities
  • Shares our Trust’s values and is excited to contribute to a nurturing, inclusive school community

Experience in coaching, mentoring, or leadership is desirable but not essential. Above all, you will be someone who believes in the limitless potential of every child and strives to help them succeed.
