About this Role

The First Federation Trust, a Multi Academy Trust of 29 primary schools across Devon and Dorset, including Mrs Ethelston's CE Primary Academy.

Mrs Ethelston’s Church of England Primary Academy is situated in the lovely village of Uplyme, which adjoins Lyme Regis. We have close links with other schools in both Dorset and Devon, and we are a feeder school to The Woodroffe School. We make the most of our rural location with visits around the local area, and are also proud to be part of the Jurassic Coast and the many unique learning opportunities this provides.

Mrs Ethelston’s has close and happy links with St Peter and St Pauls Church and is very much a community school and although the children come from a fairly wide area, they are encouraged to feel involved in village life. There are many links with the village of Uplyme creating a real partnership with the local community.
