We are seeking to appoint a motivated and inspirational Assistant Principal with responsibility for EYFS, Year 1 and Phonics, who will join us on our journey to becoming a truly great school. The successful candidate will be a passionate leader who can champion early learning, drive high-quality teaching and phonics provision, and work collaboratively as part of our senior leadership team to make Bramble Academy the best it can be.

To be successful, you will:

  • be able to nurture, inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities
  • have a clear vision for delivering a high‑quality, ambitious curriculum across EYFS and Key Stage 1
  • demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to support, coach and develop staff
  • enjoy working as part of a dedicated team to achieve the best outcomes for every pupil

We are a one-form entry school that serves a changing community close to the centre of Mansfield Woodhouse.  ‘The school has been completely revitalised by the vast array of improvements that have taken place since the last inspection. Pupils, and parents and carers, describe how the school has ‘blossomed’. Many parents gladly recommend the school to others.’

 ‘The school supports pupils’ broader personal development well. Pupils learn about the importance of healthy relationships and of how to treat everyone with equal respect, regardless of differences. Trained staff are available to support pupils’ wellbeing and mental health needs. Pupils new to the country are welcomed into the school. The elected school council gives pupils a voice. They proudly describe the school as ‘inclusive and diverse’. They are well prepared for modern British society.’

 ‘The trust has provided strong support for the school, including in developing the libraries and high-quality outdoor learning facilities. Support for other areas such as curriculum, leadership and the early years is also strong. Staff speak warmly about the care and consideration shown by leaders for their workload and well-being.’
