About this Role
Provide
general clerical support including clerical processes, word processing, IT
based tasks requiring knowledge of various ICT packages and operation of office
equipment
Undertake
general financial administration such as processing orders, collecting monies
and undertake basic book keeping, such as for petty cash
Undertake
reception duties, act as first point of contact in response to and deal with
enquiries either by telephone or face-to-face and sign in visitors, deal
with lost property etc.
Produce
lists, information and data as requested by senior staff or external agencies
(e.g. standard/statutory returns)
Maintain
manual and computerised records and management information systems.
First
point of contact for sick pupils, liaise with parents / carers /staff
Open,
sort and distribute incoming mail and post outgoing mail
Assist
with arrangements for academy visits and events
Maintain
stocks and supplies, selling and distributing as required
Provide
administrative support for meetings and take notes at meetings
Assist with the administration of academy lettings and
other uses of academy
Who we are looking for
Working at or towards national occupational standards (NOS)
in business and administration level 2 and knowledge / skills equivalent to
current qualifications level 2 is desirable.
Educated to NVQ level 2 / GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent
knowledge and experience.
A full, clean driving licence (for posts that support other
Academies).
To be a skilled user of Microsoft Office, with the ability
to produce, create and edit documents using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and
Outlook.
Able to always maintain the strictest confidentiality and
integrity.
Sensitivity when collaborating work with colleagues at all levels.
Highly organised and efficient and able to work to tight deadlines,
often under pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate well to a wider range of stakeholders.

Salary & Benefits
· NJC3: FTE £24,796 - pro rata £21,780.27 per annum
· This is a permanent role working 37 hours a week
39 weeks a year - Term Time Only
