About this Role

Casual role

The post holder will help organise students at the start and end of each exam while maintaining a calm and supportive environment. You will provide the correct information and material to ensure the successful completion of the exam, ensuring the correct exam procedure is being followed. Whilst not disrupting candidates, you will need to remain vigilant at all times, dealing with any disturbances to the exam and refer suspected instances of malpractice to the Data and Exam Officer.

  • To report to the immediate supervisor (or other designated person) any problems relating to student behaviour, equipment, materials, whole school related matters.
  • Maintain a calm and supportive environment
  • Help organise students at the start and end of each exam
  • Provide correct information and material for the successful completion of the exam
  • Ensure conduct takes place within the set guidelines and ensure students are fully equipped for the exam
  • Remain vigilant at all times, avoiding disruptions
  • Mark attendance register
  • Be familiar with the School’s associated policies and procedures

  • English and Mathematics Qualification at GCSE or equivalent level
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Use of initiative and self motivation, carry yourself in a professional and polite manner
