We are seeking an Assistant Headteacher who will play a pivotal role in shaping our school’s culture, standards, and success.
As part of our Senior Leadership Team, you will provide strategic leadership across behaviour, safety, attendance, and pastoral care—ensuring every child is known, valued, and supported to flourish.
You will help drive whole school improvement and foster a caring, high achieving environment rooted in our strong Catholic/Christian ethos. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who is dedicated to nurturing the whole child and strengthening relationships across our community.
As our new Assistant Headteacher, you will:
• Lead and promote the school’s Catholic/Christian ethos in daily practice.
• Ensure an outstanding climate for learning, supporting both staff and pupils.
• Be a visible and proactive presence throughout the school day.
• Represent the senior team at after school and evening events when required.
• Line manage and develop staff, including middle leaders.
• Support specific subject areas or year groups as a leadership link.
• Teach across a range of key stages.
• Contribute to lesson observations and the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning.
• Play an active role in staff recruitment.
• Build strong partnerships with parents, governors, Trust schools, parishes, and the wider community.
