About this Role

Dear Candidate,

"...some of us are looking at the stars..."

Every school is on a 'journey', but unfortunately our journey has led us down the garden path! I am the new headteacher at The Globe and we are looking for the right people to help transform our school.

If you are a bog standard teacher, wanting a bog-standard school, with bog-standard children, on a bog-standard pathway, then thank you for looking but we are not the school for you.

However, if you are a visionary, creative, fun, empathetic, innovative, quirky, unordinary and looking for a project that will make you relish why you became a teacher, then we want to hear all about you. Primarily, we want amazing teachers who will lift our standards simply by being in the building. And if you then fancy leading change and developing your leadership experience, then the phase leadership aspect will be of interest.

If you have a particular specialism in an area of school life, then that would be beneficial, e.g. phonics, Y6, EYFS, core subject leadership, etc, but not essential. We encourage visits to the school and/or a phone call with me - our website is dated and soon to be overhauled, so wouldn't give you our current flavour.

Thank you for looking and we look forward to hearing from you! (Lots of small print now follows...)

Mo Rahman - Headteacher
