Vacancy: Pupil Support Lead
Contract: Permanent
Grade: TSPT 9 points 29-31
Hours: 36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Salary: £30,822 - £32,490 (FTE £35,674 - £37,605)
Start date: 2nd June 2025
We are
looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who is passionate about
supporting children’s wellbeing and ensuring they thrive. The successful candidate will need to be able
to liaise with external agencies and families, utilising strong interpersonal
and communication skills. They will be diplomatic, trustworthy and sensitive.
Previous experience supporting children’s pastoral needs is desirable, as is
safeguarding and counselling knowledge or experience.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the senior leadership team, the
successful candidate will:

Lead the operational delivery of safeguarding
across the school, ensuring the protection and wellbeing of all pupils
·
Act as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
·
Oversee Common Assessment Framework (CAF)
processes within the school.
·
Attend multi-agency meetings including Child
Protection Conferences.
·
Implement safeguarding systems to monitor and
track concerns regarding vulnerable children.
·
Provide pastoral support to staff and pupils,
addressing the barriers to learning both school and at home.
·
Work with individuals, families and external to
support children’s behaviour, learning, and social, emotional and mental
health.
