We are seeking to appoint a motivated, well-organised and ambitious class teacher to join our welcoming and successful school community from September 2026.
Blackawton Primary is a lively and inclusive school
with approximately 135 pupils, alongside a Nursery provision. Our children are
keen learners who demonstrate positive behaviour and flourish within a caring
and supportive environment. In Key Stage 1, we place a strong emphasis on play
and continuous provision, ensuring a seamless transition from the Early Years
and supporting pupils to grow as confident, independent learners. In Key Stage
2, we continue to build on these foundations, developing pupils’ knowledge and
skills while fostering independence within a supportive learning environment.
We are committed to the professional development of
our staff. A strong culture of coaching and collaboration underpins our
approach, offering meaningful opportunities for colleagues to refine their
practice and contribute to wider school improvement.
Our dedicated teaching team is supported by
experienced and committed teaching assistants, and we benefit from strong
partnerships with our local community and other schools within our
Multi-Academy Trust.
