About this Role

Alde Valley Academy (part of Kingfisher Schools Trust) are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our existing team.  This is a key role within the school, ensuring that students are supported to perform at their best.  Experience of working with young people in an educational setting would be advantageous. The hours of work in this post are 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time + one week)

The successful candidate will:

  • Have the ability to manage student behaviour and supervise the completion of work set for the cover lesson.
  • Be confident in decision making, and have the ability to be assertive when required.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Preferably have some previous school-based employment or experience.
  • Be educated to A level or equivalent
