is seeking a

School Volunteer

Mepal and Witcham Church of England Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic volunteer to help in our school.  This role involves assisting in various activities whilst creating a welcoming and supportive environment. 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally:

·       Have experience of working with children

·       Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

·       Have high levels of enthusiasm, determination and a drive to inspire others to achieve high standards

·       Have excellent communication skills including speaking and listening

·       Be reliable, patient and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude

·       Be able to work flexibly and professionally in a team environment

About Role

The purpose of this voluntary role is to provide pupils with classroom support in a range of areas including listening to pupils read, accompanying school visits, library support and supporting specific curriculum areas.
