The Role

We are seeking a brilliant mathematician and leader to join our prestigious school as Assistant Head of Faculty in Maths. You will work alongside a Head of Faculty to lead and develop a skilled and high-performing team to deliver a well-designed challenging curriculum to our fabulous Levenshulme learners.

As an integral member of the wider school community, you will collaborate closely with colleagues, engage with families and participate in whole-school activities.

About You

You will be an experienced and consistently strong classroom practitioner with a deep understanding of the Maths curriculum and a passion for securing excellent outcomes for all students. Confident in analysing data, leading improvement strategies and supporting colleagues, you will bring strong organisational skills, professional resilience and the ability to inspire both staff and students. You will demonstrate a sound understanding of safeguarding, behaviour, attendance and national educational strategies, alongside a commitment to collaborative working, continuous professional development and upholding the school’s co‑operative values. With the ability to contribute to faculty leadership, model best practice and support the development of others, you will play a key role in raising standards and shaping the future success of the department.
