The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic member of staff who is committed to supporting young people as a Teaching Assistant, within our high achieving, vibrant, multi-cultural school for girls.  The successful candidate will provide support to pupils in small groups and in mainstream classes and have experience of working with pupils who have SEMH needs, both inside and outside of the classroom. As well as providing support to the classroom teachers and collaborating in planning for learning, they will be responsible for planning and delivering bespoke interventions. 

What We're Looking For

You will be a patient, adaptable and proactive individual with a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents. Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable, and you should have a good standard of literacy and numeracy, alongside a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
