Grade 8, commencing point 18 (FTE £31,537 per annum) pay award pending

Actual salary equates to £23,126 per annum

We are seeking an organised and passionate HLTA with a specific focus on Literacy and the co-ordinating of Access Arrangements to strengthen whole-school literacy for students with SEND and ensure they receive the support they need in assessments.

This new position will focus on raising literacy attainment for students with SEND while coordinating their exam access arrangements.

We are seeking a candidate with experience in delivering literacy interventions and supporting students with a range of abilities, alongside a strong understanding of effective literacy strategies and current practice. You will be confident supporting students with literacy difficulties, including dyslexia. Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills are essential, as is a keen attention to detail. Above all, you will be committed to inclusive education and raising literacy standards for all SEND students.
