OFSTED, November 2022

We require an enthusiastic and highly motivated RE teacher to join our dedicated team from March 2025. The position is to cover maternity leave. Applications are welcome from ECTs and experienced teachers who are confident at teaching GCSE and A-Level and are willing to support the Catholic life of the school.

Our people are at the heart of our success and in return we can offer:

  • An exciting opportunity to work with an outstanding and supportive team
  • Excellent CPD opportunities
  • Entry into the Teachers’ Pension Scheme
  • Genuine commitment to employee health and wellbeing, including a dedicated Employee Assistance Programme, wellbeing sessions delivered by our Holistic Health Coach and free staff yoga session

All applicants must be able to demonstrate an empathy for, and understanding of, the Catholic Christian ethos of the school.

Safeguarding screening, including online searches, will be undertaken on all shortlisted candidates. BGN is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students and to upholding fundamental British Values.  We expect all of our employees to share this commitment. This post will require an enhanced DBS check.
