About this Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed, hardworking, enthusiastic individual to join our pupil supervision team working within our Communication and Interaction SEND Unit for EYS and Key Stage 1 pupils (The Harbour). This role requires you to be flexible, adaptable and to be able to show compassion and empathy.
- Have the ability to work with and communicate effectively with pupils and staff.
- Provide support/supervision for pupils during lunch periods both in and out of the provision or dining hall to ensure a safe environment at all times.
- Support the Academy in ensuring the safety and welfare of all pupils.
- Be an enthusiastic team member and have the ability to work as part of a team.
- Deal with any injuries as they occur and report any issues to the class teacher at the end of the lunch break.
- Encourage and support pupils during the lunch break to participate in organised games.
- Have the skills to ensure that lunchtimes are safe, healthy and fun.
You will have:
- A good standard of education.
- Good negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills with staff and pupils.
- The ability to relate well to children.
- Energy, drive and enthusiasm.
