About this Role

The Site Manager holds full operational responsibility for the UTCN premises, ensuring the site remains safe, secure, clean, and properly maintained for students, staff, and visitors. This proactive leadership role involves line managing an Assistant Site Manager, coordinating external contractors (such as the cleaning team), and overseeing day-to-day site operations, from early morning unlocking to setting up for school events and exams.

Beyond routine maintenance and minor DIY repairs, the Site Manager plays a crucial role in health and safety compliance—conducting statutory testing, auditing safety tasks using lamCompliant, and managing the Building Management and CCTV systems. The position requires a collaborative, highly organized individual who can balance regular compliance duties with the flexibility to support out-of-hours school events and community lettings.
