Staverton CE Primary school is an established primary academy at the heart of the community, which seeks to provide the highest quality education for each and every child, through an engaging, responsive and tailored curriculum, enabling all to achieve their full potential.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and excellent teacher, who has a proven record of improving the quality of education within a school, with particular emphasis on EYFS.  We are looking for someone who:

  • Is enthusiastic, experienced, approachable and friendly
  • Is up to date with current research around Quality First Teaching and Early Years practice (Nursery and Reception),
  • Ensures all children feel safe, happy and able to learn to the best of their ability and reach their potential,
  • Is knowledgeable and has the skills to meet the requirements of the EYFS Framework, including a good understanding of Early Reading,
  • Has the ability to develop effective relationships with pupils, parents and external agencies in order to support pupils’ smooth transition into school
  • Is confident in leading a team, developing the vision and having the drive to move it forward
  • Able to create a stimulating and inviting learning environment adapted to suit the needs of the pupils,
  • Supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.
  • Experience of Read Write Inc is desirable
