About the Role
The successful candidate will work with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, delivering engaging art activities designed to support emotional, social, and academic development. You will play a key role in helping children express themselves creatively, overcome barriers to learning, and engage positively in school life.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
- Demonstrates strong artistic and creative skills.
- Is empathetic, patient, and able to build positive relationships with children.
- Understands the emotional and social needs of primary-aged pupils.
- Is working towards a relevant therapeutic qualification and is committed to ongoing professional development.
- Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
Desirable Experience
- Delivering art-based interventions or therapeutic activities.
- Adapting creative activities to meet a range of learning needs and abilities.
