About this Role

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our team at Heathland School. As a Midday Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and positive experiences of our pupils during lunchtime. You will be responsible for supervising students, helping them with their lunchtime routines, and promoting positive behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pupils in the dining hall and on the playground during lunch breaks.
  • Ensure that students follow safety rules and behaviour expectations.
  • Assist students with basic table manners and any lunchtime-related needs.
  • Manage and resolve any minor disputes or issues in a calm and positive manner.
  • Ensure that pupils are eating in a safe and appropriate environment.
  • Support lunchtime activities and encourage positive play.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Enjoys working with children and has a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Able to communicate clearly with both children and staff.
  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Have a positive attitude and a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
