About this Role

Braunston CE Primary School has an opening for a class teacher to join our wonderful school from September 2026 full time.

We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic and have a creative approach to their work as well as being flexible, adaptable, and willing to engage with the whole life of the school. 

The ideal candidate will:

  • ·        Have KS1/KS2 Experience.
  • ·        Have Qualified Teacher Status
  • ·        Be able to demonstrate high quality, effective classroom practice
  • ·        Provide evidence of relevant, up-to-date CPD.
  • ·        Have knowledge of the national curriculum.
  • ·        Have experience of using active learning to engage children.
  • ·        Establish positive and supportive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • ·        Be passionate about developing the whole child.
  • ·        Be patient, calm and have a positive attitude.
  • ·        Motivate and encourage children and staff.
  • ·        Be very well organised and hardworking.
  • ·        Be a strong communicator, approachable and a team player.
  • ·        Have a strong commitment to our school’s Christian ethos and values.
  • ·        Be able to identify barriers to learning so that all children make progress from their starting points.
