About Us: Finch Woods Academy is a co-educational specialist school for pupils with EHCPs primarily for social, emotional and mental health difficulties, many of whom who also have additional complex needs. We cater for pupils from Y4 through to Y11.
Key Requirements: Key Requirements: Due to our improving popularity and success our school is growing rapidly, which means we are looking to recruit a candidate with a proven track record of excellent teaching and experience of teaching pupils with special educational needs. The post-holder will work as a form and general teacher for a primary or middle year group, who are a part of our lower school department and who enjoy a primary/middle school structure. There is also a requirement to offer a specialist subject to Key Stage 3 and, potentially, as an option to Key Stage 4. An ability to offer any of the Expressive Arts and/or Computing would be an advantage.
